[Dr. Bagde](https://timothyspringer.org/people/saket-rahul-bagde) was one of [four Harvard Medical School researchers](https://hms.harvard.edu/news/4-harvard-medical-school-researchers-receive-damon-runyon-awards) to receive [Damon Runyon Awards](https://www.damonrunyon.org/news/damon-runyon-cancer-research-foundation-awards-44m-top-young-scientists). The four-year fellowship will support Dr. Bagde’s research on integrins and the structural mechanisms governing hemidesmosome assembly and disassembly, providing insights into tissue homeostasis, organoid growth, and the progression of epithelial cancers.
